The S. P. Gaskets Flange Insulation Kit Gaskets have been introduced to us recently. They are specially designed for combating the corrosion effects inside the flanged piping system. Most of the galvanic corrosion takes place between identical metal flanges and flanges associated with underground piping’s cathodic protection. In such places, you can use the “S. P. Gaskets” flanges insulation kit gaskets effectively.

The materials and designs that are utilized in the “S. P. Gaskets” flange insulation kit gasket not only seal the flanges but also insulate metal parts for preventing corrosion from the flow of current.

Types of “S. P. Gaskets” insulation kit gasket

We are all in one. We manufacture, design, and provide three different types of flange insulation kit gaskets:

  • TYPE-D: These gaskets are particularly designed for fitting into the RTJ Flanges’ grooves.
  • TYPE-E: These gaskets are for the flanges with a full face.
  • TYPE-F: These gaskets are for the flanges having raised faces.

Composition of Type “E” and “F”

A flange insulation kit gasket for Type “E” and “F” comprises of:

  • 2 metallic washers are electro-plated.
  • 2 insulating washers for every bolt are there.
  • There is 1 central gasket of perfect thickness in the flat section.
  • There is 1 integral washer sleeve or one full-length insulating sleeve for every bolt.

“S. P. Gaskets” insulation kit gaskets of Type “F” for raised-face flanges

It is available for usage in API, ANSI B16.5, DIN, and BS standards. The central gasket is kept inside the circle of the flange bolt. It fully sits on the flange’s face portion that is raised. We supply this form of gaskets in all of the materials shown in the table.

S. P. Gaskets” insulation kit gaskets of Type “E” for full-face flanges

It can use API, ANSI B16.5, DIN, and BS standards. Over here, the outside diameter of the central gasket is equal to the outside diameter of the flange and its bolt holes. This particular design facilitates easy gaskets’ alignment while installing. The Type “E” gaskets are usually found in fortified Neoprene-faced phenolic material or any other material, as shown in the table.

“S. P. Gaskets” insulation kit gaskets of Type “D” for ring gaskets

You can use it in API, ANSI B16.5, DIN, and BS standards. The gaskets of this kind are available in phenolic material that is fabric-reinforced or any other material mentioned in the table. It is available in two types: “octagonal and oval”. This particular type has oval-faced contact faces that offer a reliable seal and conform with ASME B – 16.20.
